We
avoid
ed the breakfast buffet at $24/person it was just to expensive to justify when there are plenty of restaurants around for breakfast at a fraction of the cost.

Its location is very good, just two blocks away from the touristy areas - far enough to
avoid
most of the noise, whilst retaining the convenience of exploring on foot.

We also called home during our stay and the call charges were astronomical, it's likely we would have paid the same rate in another hotel but
avoid
international calls from the hotel if possible.

Food at a whole spectrum of pricing is available within a 10 minute walk in any direction, so stock up on water and snacks from the Walgreens down the street and you'll
avoid
the high prices.

If you are on holiday
avoid
it like the plague and opt for something further downtown - Nob Hill looks a good location to stay if a little pricey.

If you do decide to go for it, dont queue at the main terminus, but walk up the road to one of the stops as you will

some of the queuing.

As two women travelers, we
avoid
ground floor rooms and rooms with doors that open to the outside at all costs.
