1. The music was extremely loud and the music totally out-dated.

2. Great for getting up and down the hill but the noise of the trams and the traffic in general was very loud - the windows are an old design and therefore don't really keep the noise out especially on the 6th floor where we were.

4. We were often disturbed by other guests flushing their toilets, and by people walking past in the corridor; plus as our room was on a fairly low floor, overlooking the front of the hotel where the porters use a loud whistle to attract taxis for guests, this would disturb us late into the evening, and again early in the morning.

5. Toilets took two flushes and the shower pipes produced a VERY loud shuddering noise when in use (we could hear the same noise coming from the next room).

6. Their 'upgraded' room is located on powell street with cable car, so you have a nice view, but it's loud all day and it'll wake you up.

7. Put in an unclean room with unclean toilet, built up dust along all edges of carpet next to walls, unfriendly unhelpful unwelcoming check in person, had to use blankets under crack of room door to stop loud wind whistle noise, was aware of $44 pkg.
