6. 5min walk to Bart / Cable car station (Powel) You do not need a car if you stay in the city (parking is possible but expensive) - use 7 day pass for MUNI (26$) if you stay longer; the room was clean, comfortable bed; unfortunately curtain was dirty and damaged which is not necessary in this type of hotel; TV an HiFi was good quality (they even provide two Cds of music for CD player); room bar fridge well equipped but again too expensive; better buy outside and ask housekeeping to empty fridge (see other comments).

10. The staff were extremely helpful on check in but unfortunately when we arrived at our room is stunk of smoke and you can't open the windows as some of the rooms are so high.
