2. Room was well maintained, clean, my only negative is the lighting in the rooms, not too good and the lamps and lamp shades are seriously out of date, ugly, don't match the rest of the decor.

The price of the Imperial Club room at Hotel NIKKO (mine was 2209) depends on the date and actual occupancy, as usual everywhere, but in my case was something like $258 per night (plus local taxes) for 3 adults which is decently balanced (cheaper, I would say) compared to similar Hotels in big capitals in Europe.
