4. I choose this hotel over the Rittenhouse (dated rooms), the Ritz (dated rooms), the Four Seasons (dated rooms,hallways to rooms are too long) and the Westin (dated rooms, too expensive).

7. Aesthetically, the public spaces are gorgeous - the building is known as the Architect's Building and dates from the Art Deco period - and the hotel designers have taken great care in honoring the building's history in retaining some of the original details.
