1. Unfortunately a young man decided to vacuum the carpets around the refreshment table very thoroughly and our relaxing start to the day was spoilt by the noise.

6. I know what you're thinking: most of this stuff the hotel can't control? But really, all of these problems could have been easily solved with two things: a chain lock (to keep housekeeping from coming in and my dog from going out), and a good fan (to keep us cool and to provide white noise to sleep).

7. Our dog couldn't even sleep with all of the noise from the hallways (people were milling about at 3AM.
