1. unfortunately, 6 days into our 3 week stay at the Rivington, we received some news from home and sadly my mother and brother had to suddenly fly home.

3. unfortunately I left an expensive fountain pen in the room and after multiple attempts to notify the hotel's lost and found department (as well as the hotel manager) I never received a return phone call.

4. I would think the view would be amazing, but, unfortunately, the corner room I requested was below the 12th floor and I looked onto the roof tops of the buildings below and a limited skyline of NYC.

6. unfortunately we never got to try out the rooftop bar as there was a wedding on there on our last night when we went to try it so that was private.

10. As someone who usually stays in boutique hotels it has been my experience that they usually start off great but tend to lose their momentum and unfortunately this seems to be the case here.
