1. I was disturbed that the two bottles of water in the bathroom (for which there is a charge) had broken seals and were probably refilled by the previous occupant.

2. Overall I think this would be a good hotel if you are going to be painting the town red every night , as you wouldn't be in the room to be disturbed by the noise.

4. It is very disturbing however to have to explain to the bouncer every time that you leave the hotel that you are actually a guest.

5. Please note that 'do not disturb' means nothing to these people : They will still enter your room and check your mini-bar & room even if you have expressly indicated that you are 'not to be disturbed'.

6. They did wake me up on both nights but I soon got back to sleep and wouldn't consider the street noise a major disturbance (although I suspect it would be for those staying on lower floors).

7. I know some other reviewers have commented on noise / disturbances but for us the biggest plus point was that our high floor room was a real oasis of calm from the frenetic streets of New York.
