1. Unfortunately, 6 days into our 3 week stay at the Rivington, we received some news from home and sadly my mother and brother had to suddenly fly home.

4. Having previously stayed here in 2005, when the hotel was a great deal newer, my second visit left me feeling a bit sad.

5. We`ll definitely be going back there and sadly will have to go for the high corner king instead of the suite, but I`m sure it will be great too.

6. The bar was really nice with good cocktails, though we did have a bit of a pain trying to sit down in it late on a Friday night, apparently they would rather leave the couches empty in case someone who wants to buy bottles of booze comes along, but saying that once they found out we had just eaten there they took us and my friends who had just arrived straight to a couch and sadly it did make us feel a bit special.
