2. for this reason I can understand some of the other reviews - if however you are used to staying in high end luxury hotels with good service please avoid this place like the plague or you will be bitterly dissapointed as I was.

5. The nightclub atmosphere downstairs is good if you like that kind of thing but I mostly avoided the restaurant as it felt a bit grubby and there are plenty of great places to eat within a block.

6. It`s in a great boho location on the lower east side - brilliant for shopping eating out & drinking - and avoiding the tackier tourist areasI contacted the hotel directly and Rob DelliBovi was really helpful with the booking (organising a great deal), and advising on the location.

10. This was a pre-Honeymoon, avoid reality trip immediately after the wedding, so I chose somewhere away from all the mess in Midtown Manhattan - if you want somewhere a little bit different - try the Rivington.
