1. Reception was a bit of a problem as people who phoned for me were told I was not there, and someone left a message three times but I never got it.

2. There was a problem with our reservation, the room we had requested and paid for (a high king corner) was not available due to a plumbing issue, they were very apologetic and gave us a high king on the 19th floor.

5. We still really enjoyed the stay, lighting was never a problem - bright sunshine in the day from two walls of windows and plenty of light in the room and bathroom at night, i think people who have had a previous issue with low lighting don't realise there are dimmers on the light switches.

6. Wifi is also slow with problem of saying too many people try again later but evetually can get on.

7. It's right in the heart of the LES, and there is a lot of activity going on around the hotel until the wee hours - but sound was not a problem in our room on the 7th floor.

10. The problems are the following: 1) the reception NOT being on the ground floor2) the unfriendliness of the the doormen3) the awful bar on the ground floor4) the breakfast and waitersSo here's my experience.
