1. The sofa bed mattress - from all accounts -- was a bit uncomfortable, however, though I'm sure if we had thought to call the front desk, they would have gladly fixed this up for us.

5. As to the sofa bed comfort, it was most uncomfortable for our granddaughter, but on the following morning, upon leaving for the day, when the manager was notified, an additional mattress pad was placed on the bed and it increased her comfort considerably.

6. The neighborhood is very safe (it is a city so use common sense) we were out at all different times of the day and night and never felt uncomfortable walking anywhere.

8. The neighbourhood was (relatively) tranquil, and it felt totally safe at all times; I walked alone from Lincoln Center up Broadway (10-12 minutes) around midnight three nights in a row without feeling in the least uncomfortable.
