The hotel is in a great location if you want a little more of a quiet scene, from the

We went to the museum first and when we were walking into the hotel later he asked in a
loud
voice 'DO THEY HAVE DINOSAURS IN HERE TOO?' He now thinks all big buildings in NYC should have dinosaur skeletons in them.

Unfortunately the walls are a bit thin and our neighbours tended to stay up late talking rather
