1. It was also great to be able to return to the room early evening after a long day sightseeing and relax with a beer/wine in a spacious setting (rather than huddling in a cramped hotel room).

5. I thought it was a great value - we paid more to stay in a cramped one room in Times Square for our first few nights that didn't even come close to what the Beacon offered.

10. The Upper West side has a great NY feel--visiting Times Square was a lot of fun, but I wouldn`t want to be plopped right in the middle of it in a cramped and overpriced hotel room.
