1. We had no complaints about the beds or the amenities, though if more than two people stayed in the room (double double) they'd need to ask for more dinnerware, since there were only settings for two.

4. When I was looking for a place to stay in SoBe and came across this hotel and the glowing reviews I was suspicious and dug further and found that people who stay there truly do have a great time with no catastrophic complaints.

7. The only minor complaint was that unlike many rivals, there is no free internet in the rooms, I hope they change that - lots of Beacon guests take their laptops and iPads to the Starbucks next door to catch up on the net - but it probably wouldn't stop me booking again.

8. I have no complaints about the hotel, we will stay there again and next time for longer, it was nice to be a little removed from the 24 hr feel of Time Square and near all the Sesame Street like houses that we all imagine when thinking of NYC.

10. One complaint was that on our last but one day the air con started blowing out hot air and I had to report this 3 times before someone actually did something about it - at one point the receptionist even patronised me by saying she could send someone up to show me how to use it.
