3. Tip 2 - go to the top of the rock about half an hour before sunset - you see it in daylight, as the sun is setting and at night.

4. We bought the New York City Pass which was a great bargain (we went to the Museum of Natural History, MOMA, the two hour boat ride (Circle Line Tour) and the Top of the rock.

5. At night we would usually eat in Times Square, you must if you have teenagers take them to The Hard rock Cafe, it has the best memorablilia and got our kids excited.

Although there was no restaurant in the hotel, it definatley wasn`t needed with Fairway Market Place across the road which stocked the most superb fresh fruit and vege and a wonderful selection of hot meals to go all at a rock bottom prices, even if you choose not to buy anything from here, it surely is worthwhile just to have a look.
