4. This royally pissed me off because I felt scammed and it was the hotel who arranged this Cuban clown cabbie so, I would warn you against this experience because it left a bad taste in my mouth at the end of my trip.

5. The neighborhood was fantastic 2 blocks to subway, awesome restaurants near by , we did not have a bad meal.

It was the 1st time to NY and the states for me and the missus and the beacon hotel was exactly what we were looking for,to keep it short there's nothing bad at all to say about it, the staff are great the rooms are well kept and very spacious we had two double beds in our standard room along with a kitchenette.
