6. com - wanted twin room - got lovely spacious room with 2 double beds - clean, nice bathroom - fridge, coffe maker & little sink a great plus - unfortunately no cutlery or dishes only some paper cups - had to pick up some plastic knives & spoons in nearby food court.

Top tips for a first-timers trip to the Big Apple: 1: take the open top bus on your first day as you`ll get your bearings much quicker and get a real feel for the city, try and see the city from Top of the Rock and the Empire State, we never got to the ESB unfortunately, 2: if you like shopping you have to go to the Woodbury Common Outlet.

9. Having seen the hotel on the hotelconnect website I tried to book it with them but unfortunately they had no availability so I managed to get a booking on the hotels web-site.

10. unfortunately older people from New York city have a very dim view of this hotel, they really believe it to be a dump, so will take time for them to be highly recommended by the people we met, there minds were changed when we insisted they see the room, but don't be in to much of a hurry to raise prices or star 31/2 is fine for now, until the reputation meets the standards they deserve.
