1. The lobby is a little bit loud, reminds me of an airport terminal, the natural light was missing considering the refreshed modern design.

6. It was unfortunate that the room next to us was a family with a bunch of kids that were up loudly until 11pm and a crying baby, but that was no fault of the hotel ;) The hotel staff was great and very courteous and helpful with a smile.

7. The manager played dumb about the noise initially, then when I specifically mentioned the loud pounding he informed us that everywhere in NYC it would be 'noisy' and claimed they had no advance warning of the posts going in across the street.

9. That would have been tolerable if not for the LOUD construction at the crack of dawn (and NOT Ground Zero construction).
