1. We are aware that this hotel is switching brands to a Conrad as of 5/1/2011 and undergoing renovations so this review will be out of date quickly.

7. I am pretty picky about the cleanliness of hotels and how up-to-date the furnishings are although perfection is neither necessary or likely anywhere you travel.

Yes, we agree that the new system of tickets for drinks and breakfast is somewhat off-putting, but probably necessary to maintain the bottom line (the only thing I would change would be to institute a guest registration card with check-in and check-out dates rather than a finite number of coupons) and keep out non-gues freeloaders.
