1. (4) a desk with a desk chair is provided, but no table and chairs where a couple could dine graciously together, unless they wanted to hunch over their plates on the coffee table; (5) we had to run the air conditioning all the time because the place was so hot and we could not get any windows to open--the temperatures were only in the high 50's to low 70's, so I can't imagine what this place must be like in the height of summer; (6) a tiny, tiny interior bathroom with no ventilation fan of any kind and a toilet so jammed in that it was hard to reach the toilet paper and the door slightly brushed against the toilet when closing the door.
"We agree; this place has problems, starting with internet accesss " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/16/2012 Vote
2. Every cheap motel in the country can manage to provide free in-room wifi all day and night long to its guests, but this hotel has free wifi only in the main floor lobby, which is tiny, opens directly onto the sidewalk and was under noisy and dusty construction throughout the week we stayed there; (3) the kitchen is so meagerly equipped as to be almost useless and, for Pete's sake, the only ice you can get is from one of those plastic freezer cube trays that no one has used since about the sixties?.

3. I honestly had panic attacks looking at some of the tiny and expensive rooms in other Manhattan hotels.
"The only hotel I'll stay at in NYC! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/2/2012 Vote
4. I couldn't get over how tiny the lobby was; and there were 4 employees crowded around the little desk; and one seemed more confused than the next.
"Nice suite, but sub-par service. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/27/2012 Vote
5. The kitchen & bathrooms were tiny.

6. I'd recommend that you avoid this hotel and book instead at the Affinia Dumont which is more in the heart of things, has great views of the bridges lit up at night, and while the lobby is also tiny, the whole place feels livelier and better located.
"dreary but enormous " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2010 Vote
7. Despite the grand entry, the lobby is uninviting and tiny, like a motel 8 sort of place.

8. The lobby is tiny, and the 'tea room' is just a small room off the lobby with some tea in it.
"Not what it appears to be " Read full review on YahooTravel   3/30/2009 Vote
9. The only tiny gripe was the kitchen was not stocked with adequate cooking utensils/equipment so a proper full `home-cooked` dinner at night was not really possible (would have liked more bowls, servers, pots and pans and vege steamers etc - but you could manage I guess and most people probably don`t eat in the hotel when in such a city).
"LOVE this hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/19/2007 Vote
