Only
negative
point: gift shop drinks and snacks are very expensive, but aren't they always? There's a shop just around the corner on Madisson Avenue open 24 hours with sandwiches and snacks at a reasonable price.

The only
negative
to the great location was the scarsity of cabs - we had to struggle with flagging one down, and eventually we relied on the subway when we had that option.

Due to the

But it wasnt a huge issue :-) I had read so many bad reviews on this hotel and I can not imagine why people would write things so
negative
, the hotel was amazing.

The only
negative
thing about the hotel is the attitude of the staff - they don't have that same American-style 'have a nice day' attitude that you find everywhere else on the island.

Before booking I was slightly hesitant due to some of the
negative
reviews on here, and I probably should've listened to them.

The only
negative
s would be the size of the rooms (which it's nyc, so the rooms aren't going to be overly spacious anywhere unless you have loads of cash for suites) and the elevators.
