1. infact our room key constantly did not work so we had visisted reception several times that day to fix it and was not told at any point there is some kind of problem.

2. This was obviously not a problem just in our room, as plaster was flaking from the ceiling above and water stains on the carpet said the people in 1018 were probably in the same boat.

3. before we left for ny we read some very bad reviews about this hotel and we were a bit worried,we never had any problems at all and worries were soon gone when we came back from a day out,are room had been cleaned,fresh bedding and fresh towels,what more could u want,ok the corridors could do with a lick of paint but we didnt sleep in the corridor.

5. I said 'but we just traveled here from Canada, where are we going to stay' and she answered 'that's not my problem' and then motioned to the clerk to help the next person in line.

6. But for what you need the room for you couldn't ask for more the only problem I had with the hotel was the doorman was very rude and it seemed like he needed a good slap.
