1. The room was vintage 1960's, with a 1989 TV, dated, dingy-tiled bathroom, patched woodwork around the doors and baseboards, and a door that looked like it came from an old cruise ship, retrofitted with new locks and a card reader.

6. Even though the check in was quick and the person i was dealing with was very nice, i knew i made a mistake choosing this hotel when i saw the hall ways which were dark and dingy.
