The rooms are also grand thankfully and even a double has enough walking space to put suites in some places I have visited to

I have had an apology from the Director of Front Office at the hotel which was pleasing as it has been taken seriously but it is a real
shame
that this really nice place which has a history is being let down by insincere over the top service.

shame
that a lovely old hotel needs repairs that would appear not to be forthcoming.
