The only downside was the very
loud
air conditioner, which shut off and on all night, but we would not hesitate to stay here again.

My one complaint is that the bell staff were aggressive in the performance of their duties: when we declination to allow them to take our suitcases, a
loud
comment was made regarding our 'lack of etiquette' and the need for the an increase in their wages.

Only bad part of the trip was my last night when neighbors and their
loud
kids arrived and kept slamming the door to their room.

Because of the age of the building, some of the rooms can be
loud
, so avoid staying near an elevator, an ice machine, or the HVAC blowers (lower floors).

(2) asked the Concierge for a recommendation for someplace close by that a group of ladies our 40's could eat and maybe hear live music without being swamped by 20 year olds (hotel is walking distance to Adams Morgan which is very cool cultural center but also lots of
loud
and rowdy party bars, and wind/cold was arctic that night so 'close by' was essential).

Turned out that room had a very
loud
neighbor next door and I could hear her talking on the phone thru the wall.

Genius management decides to do a 1:40AM building-wide announcement (broadcast
loud
ly into all rooms too) informing everyone that the keys don't work.

Also, the hotel is
loud
- not that the clientele is rowdy, but the doors and walls are thin so you hear your fellow guests.

The hotel was always very quiet but it would be great if the room doors had a little noise dampening as they could be quite
loud
and crashy when people in nearby rooms closed them firmly.
