1. We felt really uncomfortable at not being understood - I appreciate that the Scottish accent can be difficult to understand, but I travel a lot and usually find that moderating it slightly does the trick.

3. There was plenty of hanging space in the walk in closet, which also contained a safe, although I think this was mounted a little high for ease of access if you are not tall- I certainly found it difficult to see inside.

5. Only 2 per wing, very tiny and characteristic of an old, historical property--just makes going and up and down a bit difficult, particularly if you're on one of the upper floors.

6. My only complaint was that the freeform shape and no lanes for doing laps meant that it was difficult to use it for actually swimming.

8. While I`m in no way suggesting that the hotel`s staff was personally accountable for the theft from the vehicle, it was difficult to forgive management`s response to our inquiries into this matter.

9. Our only minor complaint was that 2 large conferences were being held at the hotel which made internet access a bit difficult at times and bar area, lifts and foyer were always crowded.

10. One small quibble however-there was no safety bar in the bathtub and it could be difficult for someone elderly or infirm to get out of the tub safely.
