1. 5 min walk to Fanuiel Hall area bars and restaurants(-we liked Cheers and Big Dicks Last Resort),Shops (Victoria Secret,Abercrombie,American Eagle,Gap etc) Also Bostix discount ticket booth(Sign up online for up to date info-we REALLY enjoyed the BLUE MAN GROUP-hard to describe, but not really for those interested in 'posh' /fancy shows)Also 5 min walk to harbour area(Legal Seafoods,Hard Rock Cafe, and in particular Joes American Bar at the waterfront which we thought was REALLY LOVELY due to location/views/linen table cloths/staffs uniforms and very resonable prices!)4 min walk to 'Downtown crossing' area (Macys,TJ Maxx,Marshals,DSW,Borders etc) 10 mins walk to Boston Common leading to shopping at Newbury Street,Prudential building and the Back Bay area.
