I have to admit I found the check in process and reception staff a bit odd, I think the Club Quarters is attempting to look like a home from home therefore there's no need for staff, I personally am not a fan of big reception/concierge and the hassles that can go with it, so was relieved this was not a feature, but the lost soul standing at the desk as you come and go is a little unnerving.

3. Check-in is via a self-service kiosk that didn`t work at all (apparently, this is a common event, because the one person who IS at the front desk, concierge-like, hovers by the check-in kiosks to intercept frustrated guests).

6. It is advertised as a "club" hotel i.e. there are no porter or concierge services; however, the receptionist on duty was at all times helpful and check-in was quick and efficient.

7. There's no doorman, bag service, concierge, free breakfast or valet, instead there's electronic check in (they'll help you), the elevator works when you use your card key, then there's your room.
