I have to admit I found the check in process and reception staff a bit odd, I think the Club Quarters is attempting to look like a home from home therefore there's no need for staff, I personally am not a fan of big reception/
concierge
and the hassles that can go with it, so was relieved this was not a feature, but the lost soul standing at the desk as you come and go is a little unnerving.

Check-in is via a self-service kiosk that didn`t work at all (apparently, this is a common event, because the one person who IS at the front desk,

-like, hovers by the check-in kiosks to intercept frustrated guests).

It is advertised as a "club" hotel i.e. there are no porter or
concierge
services; however, the receptionist on duty was at all times helpful and check-in was quick and efficient.

There's no doorman, bag service,
concierge
, free breakfast or valet, instead there's electronic check in (they'll help you), the elevator works when you use your card key, then there's your room.
