1. If you'll be driving a great deal while in Chicago, then please do know that as of the date of this review and unless otherwise indicated on the meter pay station or by signs posted in the neighbourhood, you can park on the street for free around the hotel from 9:00 p.m. at night until 8:00 a.m. the following morning.

3. Although one can walk across the street to reach Magnificent Mile, or 10 min to Navy Pier, but if you are planning to use the trains to get to other places in Chicago and explore other neighborhoods, then choose a better located hotel.
"Look for better options elsewhere " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/5/2011 Vote
4. A bit of a schlep to Magnificent Mile in inclement weather, but right across the street from creature comforts like a drug store and movie theater.
"Nice value for the money " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/5/2011 Vote
5. Like many hotels in downtown, Sheraton was nicely located and near everything - e.g., across the street from NBC Towers (great little cafe in their lobby if you don't feel like dishing out $$ for hotel food), a short block from movie theaters and restaurants.
"Great stay in downtown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/16/2010 Vote
6. The Hyatt directly across the street is nicer, cheaper, the gym is free, bigger and more equipment, and the rooms have better design and comfort and have affordable bottled water.
"Price High - Value Low " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/21/2009 Vote
7. I would recommend PJ Clarkes down the street to the north for lunch or dinner and Lizzie McNeills (down the stairs to the east of the hotel) for casual food and just hanging out right on the river.
"Great Hotel!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/4/2008 Vote
8. Would recommend JP Clarkes across the street for dinner; Unos for deep dish pizza; Wicked as a must see show.
