1. This hotel is within easy access to many NYC highlights - the theatre district, the Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Crafts, Central Park, Trump Towers, etc., AND rooms are spacious, clean and quiet - even when you're facing the street, the staff is helpful and friendly and to top it off, prices are reasonable.

2. I was offered a corner room and it was spacious, clean and to my surprise, even with a room in the second floor, contrary to what I read on previous posts, I couldn't hear any noise from the street (my room was facing the 8th av.

Some food places on Times Square are just tourist traps, over priced and not that good, so it was good to try out some places right across the street from the hotel (Social Lounge and West End Grill) which we found to have better food and drinks than some of the better known places on Times Square.

10. We were on the sixth floor, but despite overlooking the very busy eighth avenue (and over the new year period as well) we were not troubled by any street noise.
