2. And also it is looking slightly worn around the edges (but given it's age and use it's still superb) but nothing bad just a little bits and pieces, they've done very well with the decor and it's made it still look amazing after 10 years.

Recently stayed at this property for business, 4 nights, they should put a sign up that says 'we deliver' because they deliver it all, good rooms, nice decor, great people and a 'best of NY location' if this review sounds like a commercial i apologize, I stay here two, three time a year, for a good reason, its centrally located, and it offers the best $$ value in town.

Pros: Extremely convenient (close to Times Square, 2 blocks from the E (blue) subway line to/from the JFK airport), pleasant and modern decor throughout the hotel, very friendly staff (we arrived late at night and they offered us a late check out the following day), spacious room and very comfortable beddingCons: The hotel staff told us many of their guests go to the restaurant next door for food, so we decided to try - BIG mistake.

8. We knew the location (2 blocks from Restaurant Row) would be terrific and the price fabulous but we didn't know how impressed we would be with this hotel - from the service and warmth of the staff as they greet you in the lovely lobby to the decor, size and cleanliness of the room.

9. The next day they rang the room to see if we wanted to move into a non-smoking room but we declined this offer and we were then offered another free breakfast again!:D The service was brilliant, the porters were very friendly and the hotel in general was very clean and the decor was very nice.
