1. I also noticed on checkout that there were New York City 'Things to Do' booklets on the Bellman's stand.

2. Anytime I have asked for a late check out as a diamond (or even when I was gold a few years ago), I never had any problems getting my checkout time extended till at least 2 p.m. If someone is a gold or diamond HHonors member they shouldn't have any problems with a late checkout at all.
