1. Location: If you live in a major city, then your used to walking and won't feel the difference and we generally enjoyed the walk.

3. We walked to Ocean Drive 2 or 3 times (15 min walk) and ate at News Cafe for breakfast and happy hour at The Clevelander was fun and cheap.

5. The hotel is right on the bluest beach, within walking distance to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Avenue and was not far from the attractions we went to (Everglades etc.)The pools are all amazing, especially the rooftop one.

6. There is nothing near the hotel just a Wallgreens ,and if you want to have breakfast outside the hotel ,good luck and long walk.

8. There is extensive construction work being done in the hotel the noise started at 8Am & went on for the day, most of it is still under contruction!it is a good walk to Lincolon road which seemed to be the main shopping area.

It's a 15 minute (beautiful) walk on the boardwalk to Lincoln Road, where lots of restaurants and shops are located, and you can get everywhere else by taxi, which, if you're staying within the South Beach area, will be cheaper than the cost of a rental car and the parking charge at the hotel, which I think was around $25 a day.
