1. The concierge Victoria was wonderful and got us a prime time reservation at Bond Street _Lounge , the best Sushi we ever had and only two blocks away.

Probably the best hotel bed I've slept in+ There are 2 swimming pools, including a rooftop pool with great views of the beach+ STK is a great restaurant, and located right through the lobby+ There are 2 clubs located in the same building+ There is a 24 hr Walgreens right across the street, with a Chase ATM machine inside+ The W hotel is right next door, so you have a couple of more nightlife options, if you don't feel like going all the way to Mansion or SoBe Live+ Overall, everything you would expect from a fancy hotel like Gansevoort.

5. It's right next to the 'W', and there is a Walgreens & Liquor Store across the street :) There are no in-room coffee makers, but there is a bakery/coffee shop downstairs (which we didn't find out until we left, meaning we spent $15 on a pot of coffee via room service each morning).

6. Moreover the location is such that is away from the noise and cheap crowd yet very close to the happening streets.

7. There is a Walgreen's and Avis car rental ($80/day) across the street - get your water bottles, snacks and other needed items from there.

10. Bearing in mind the hip art-deco area is between 10th-16th Street along with Lincoln Road (this is where all the shops are, some of the finest restaurants I have eaten in, cinema, theatre, bars, all the top named stores along with independent ones).
