2. For first timers in South Beach, I would recommend getting a hotel in a more central location, maybe on Ocean Blvd south of 15th St.

4. Our room was HUGE (especially for South Beach), complete with sitting area, balcony, dual sinks in the bathroom with seperate tub/shower - and that was just a regular room.

7. The chaise/cabana's are a bit pricey and it's too bad they don't offer half-day rates (like some beaches in France) because I think spending 8 hours or more out there is too much time.

10. Couple this marvelous hotel with it's position on Miami Beach which can only be described as party central then you have all the ingredients for an absloutely marvellous holiday, with one caveat: don't bother with the Everglades, once you've seen one Alligator you've seen them all.
