1. We walked to Ocean Drive 2 or 3 times (15 min walk) and ate at News Cafe for breakfast and happy hour at The Clevelander was fun and cheap.

3. There is nothing near the hotel just a Wallgreens ,and if you want to have breakfast outside the hotel ,good luck and long walk.

4. There is a well stocked Walgreens across the street for in room snacks and the Marseilles, two blocks south, has the best waffles/breakfast on the beach.

6. I know this will seem absurd to some, but I really feel like if say, Days Inn can offer me free breakfast and coffee and toiletries and local calls for around $100/night, why can't a 'fancy' hotel like the Gansevoort do so for around $3-400.

8. Ocean Drive has lot's of breakfast choices for $4.25 (includes eggs/omelettes and hasbrowns and toast)- so don't purchase the Gansevoort breakfast plan.

10. We walked into the coffee shop looking for a light breakfast but instead opted to walk to find somewhere else as I just couldn't bring myself to spend $11 on a cup of coffee and an unappetizing looking muffin.
