1. Hindsight suggests that I should have booked a room with a view of the Hudson as the City view was generally of a car dealership with Manhattan's lights at night.

5. generally, we found that we wanted to get past the front desk and doormen as quickly as possible -- we felt oddly embarrassed and unwanted as guests -- not at ALL my experience with Kimpton hotels in the past.
