1. This is a first class hotel and infintely better than the dated institutional hotels on the Upper East Side and avenue of the Americas which have high ratings but dated furniture (Essex Hotel, Ritz and Hilton Avenue of the Americas I'm looking at you).

4. The beds were so comfy I wanted to spend more nights just to get a good night sleep since I slept better than I do when I'm home.

5. After paying nearly a grand for the 3 nights and it not exactly being a sold out weekend (which it wasn't since we asked if it was busy in casual conversation) even our bellman mentioned that there were much better rooms.

7. As a Kimpton In-Touch member, you also get a $15 free pass on the in-room fridge items (which still doesn't cover a small bottle of wine completely, but $8 is better than $23, right?).

9. Upon arrival, the area of Hell's Kitchen where the Hotel is located may seem sketchy, but we felt perfectly safe and better yet, it was out of the way from the normal tourist areas that are jammed full of people 24/7.
