1. I did a search of hotels on Trip Advisor and, even though Ink48 is 'off the beaten path' it got excellent reviews, and we decided to stay here.

2. I chose Ink 48 due to excellent experiences at Kimptons in Silicon Valley, LA, and especially San Diego ((The Solomar) where the concierge arranged for our dog's photo to surprise my wife in the room.
