1. While every employee I encountered was very gracious, I did end up waiting for 15 minutes to check into my room (which seemed to be more of a managing problem than any other reason).

3. On arrival we did get offered a very reasonably price upgrade to 43rd floor and including in-room breakfast, Happy Hour cocktails and free wi-fi (think I should thank the incredibly rude Russians who were ahead of us in the check in queue as they kept us waiting so long the nice girl on reception felt sorry for us I think.

8. The most Logical reason I could think of is that they cut all the service oriented staff and left a hotel full of old, tired, run down staff.

9. The only reason I didn't give it a fifth star is because it is just a bit older, so you have to turn on the lights individually, etc.
