I paid $270 per night which was ~$100-200
cheaper
than other hotels in the area at the time.

com I found great rate on a deluxe park view room, at a price that was more than 50%
cheaper
than what the hotel's site was charging for a non-view room.

Doubtless there are
cheaper
hotels in Manhattan, but if you've got the cash to spare the Helmsley Park Lane Hotel will deliver in terms of service and quality.

Also it's
cheaper
than the restaurants in Times Square and is only a few minutes walk away.

Breakfast in the hotel wasn't the best and was very expensive, instead just go to some of the places on 9th Avenue between 46th and 56th Streets as it's a lot
cheaper
than the hotel and more choice.

We did consider the more modern luxury hotels along this stretch but the Helmsley was marginally
cheaper
for the luxury park view room.
