2. Two minutes walk from the hotel was an underground station (R train direct to Ground Zero Memorial) and half a block away was the huge Apple store on 5th Avenue.

5. great location opposite Central Park, nice big hotel, rooms nice a wee bit dingy, we had a view out the back at buildings which wasn't so bad, as buildings were huge and great to look at part of being in New York , The mini bar & tray in the room was really funny if you removed anything for longer than 20 seconds it would be charged to your room lol .
