1. Overall, we were very happy with what Helmsley has to offer.

On arrival we did get offered a very reasonably price upgrade to 43rd floor and including in-room breakfast, happy Hour cocktails and free wi-fi (think I should thank the incredibly rude Russians who were ahead of us in the check in queue as they kept us waiting so long the nice girl on reception felt sorry for us I think.

10. Don't spend a lot of time in hotel rooms, so as long as they are clean, have a comfy bed, hot water and are quiet, I'm happy.
