1. Regardless this is a nice property and the issues I had are very easily correctable, sounds like the general Manager just needs to mention some of my items to the executive housekeeper at their next meeting.
"Great location, fix housekeeping issues for 4 star rating. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote

3. In the heart of New York's visitor district, I expected high standards and was disappointed for the following reasons:the room was very small for 3 adults for a 5 day staythe en suite had no lock on the dooron 3 of the days, I had to ring to ask for body lotion as none had been left in the roomI had to ask for more coat hangers as we had been provided with 9 for 3 adults for a 5 day stay1 bath robe was provided for 3 gueststhere was virtually no surface area for 3 people to store their stuff in the bathroomthe bath towels were just large enough to be defined as 'bath' towels: generously sized guests would struggleno central light in the bedroomthe escalators were broken on at least 3 occasionsReception staff were, at best, coldly efficient and at worst, supercilious and unhelpful: for example, early in the stay,I asked for information/support to book a Westin hotel in Washington but was told to go and sort it out myself on the internet: subsequently, I was glad that I hadn't tried to book another Westinto access the internet in our room cost us $14.

6. The general impression about the room is good, it's clean, quiet spacious for New York ( we had a corner room) but some little details were missing.

10. The supposedly famous 'Shula's Bar,' was overrated in my opinion and overpriced but other than that we had free upgrades on our room and the place was generally kept tidy.
