8. 5 to 3-star since the rooms could use a makeover but priced appropriately, the restaurant was tastefully renovated and they have an excellent new chief, who was the executive chef at the Mauna Kea Hotel & Resort for years, and the management and staff are superb and portray the true meaning of the aloha hospitality spirit.
