1. After room service messed up both my breakfast and dinner orders, spending lots of time listening to 'service express' ringing and ringing with nobody answering it, the shower and bathtub being all rusted out and gross, I was so fed up that I checked out early and went to another hotel.

3. The bathroom is designed to feel like a spa, so maybe they didn't want to have some ugly towel bar messing up the scene? In that case they could have put one in the shower, but there was nothing.
