1. The street is noisy until 5am and then the trash carts start straight after.
"Room good but noise terrible - ask to be on the front not back " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2012 Vote
2. Paint was being scrapped off the windows outside our room (rather noisy), our toilet water was cut off for hours, there were no restrooms in the lobby, there was glass in the carpet, the water pressure was miserable, the room service was non-existent but the menus were in the room, the staff was disinterested, we had to request our room to be serviced.
"Reconsider staying before renovations are complete " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/8/2012 Vote
3. Rooms are large, and some look out on (noisy) streets (hotel is just off Bourbon street in busy French Quarter) which means no sleep (especially as the noise is compounded by trash trucks that arrive at 4AM and begin their loud dumping and crunching noise); other rooms (much preferred) look out on inner courtyards (one which has nice-looking pool area); and other rooms inexplicably have windows looking at an indoor messy area full of construction debris and stacked mattresses.
"A bit tired and a mess during construction! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/11/2012 Vote
4. Would recommend an interior room or room on the side opposite Bourbon St, as it can get very noisy on Bourbon at night.

5. It is towards the Canal Street end of Bourbon Street so it's not overly noisy in the evening, and I was able to get to sleep early without being driven mad by bar noise.
