It is towards the Canal Street end of Bourbon Street so it's not overly noisy in the evening, and I was able to get to sleep early without being driven
mad
by bar noise.

The hotel is perfectly situated; you're just on the fringe of the Bourbon Street
mad
ness - just far enough away to get there in about a block and a half to 2 blocks, but just far enough away that the masses of [drunk] people aren't falling all over the front of the hotel.

Located one block from the beginning of the Bourbon St nightly
mad
ness, this hotel offers charm, huge, clean rooms with 10-12 foot ceilings, and a really great value for the money.

Overall, the staff was pleasant and the Clock bar was a nice oasis of calm in the
mad
ness of mardi gras in the quarter.
