1. We had a south facing room on the 15th (club) floor but unfortunately all we could hear until 11pm (and 12am on weekends) was the very loud baseline from the live music at the Mohawk venue a couple of blocks away.

2. Perhaps the only downturn is that if you have a connecting room, you could hear loud neighbors and even their telephones ringing at night or when you are asleep.
